Old Man Mountain Fit Kits replace the axle on your fork with a specially-machined one that you can mount a rack or Axle Pack to. The Fit Kit includes everything you need to mount an OMM rack, including mounting pucks and ultra-strong zip ties for forks without eyelets.

Fit kits are required for the Axle Pack, and we recommend them for front racks as well if you expect to heavily load the rack or take it on very rough terrain. The front axle connection is significantly stronger than an M5 bolt.
