Step-in harnesses go around the neck and around the shoulders behind the front legs, and are the harness of choice by vets. They are especially recommended for dogs who have upper respiratory disease or diseases of the throat or trachea, such as a collapsed trachea. Measure for our harness by wrapping a tape measure around the girth, or chest of the dog right behind the front legs.
