This Dixon DM Series mender hose fitting is made of zinc plated steel and is suitable for repairing a broken hose. This hose mender has barbed ends to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (not included). It is made of zinc plated steel for greater corrosion resistance than unplated steel.
